Greg Dennis |
Co-Founder Golf and Sport Performance Center

Greg Dennis is the PGA golf pro half of the Golf and Sport Performance Center team. Greg is originally from the golf crazy state of North Carolina, and moved to Jackson Hole in May, 1995 to become the golf instructor at Teton Pines Country Club and Resort, a position he currently fills. Greg graduated from UNC - Chapel Hill with a degree in zoology, which he is finding very useful in his new project with Alex.

Greg's golf education started in 1987, when he left his family business to pursue a new career in the golf industry. He first worked at Wade Hampton Golf Club in Cashiers, N.C., which is now ranked among the 2o Best courses in the U.S.A. Next came summer stops at Fishers Island N.Y., and Sugarloaf Golf Club in Maine. During the winters, Greg worked at Gulfstream Golf Club in Delray Beach, Fl. Working with the golf professionals and members of these great courses gave Greg an intensive look into the world of golf, and particularly golf instruction, a field he grew to love. Greg settled down and took a year 'round job at Greenspring Valley Hunt Club in Owings Mills, Md. In Maryland, he married Ann, and lived for 5 years, until Wyoming called him West.

Greg has always stayed ahead of the curve in golf instruction, and is very excited to be Certified by the Titleist Performance Institute. With a background in science, he is delighted to be working with the first group to fully explore the body - golf swing connection, and how the improvement of his students can be accelerated. The golf learning center will utilize many of today's cutting edge technologies, such as 3-D motion analysis, launch monitors, and video analysis to assist our clients in their quest for improvement.

Working together, Alex and Greg can offer their clients a long term system for improving both their golf games and quality of life. Please come see them soon!
